What a great experience!! Never tried Argentinian food before. That was a first and definitely not the last! The staff was very friendly, with great service and the food was mind-blowing. We took the barbecue #1 plater that includes chicken breast, pork, saucisse, steak flank, and another meat that I've never eaten before but was the most delicious! There are lots of veggies on the grill with a big green salad and a side of mashed potatoes. All of it for 690 pesos! Be aware that the meal is for 2-4 people. We never got the chance to finish it. The size is humongous but so worth it for the price. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the setup is great. They have a list of great wines as well. Definitely recommend stopping for to have a taste of their culture. Big thank you to all the staff!
I came with my 2 sisters. They had the vegetarian empanadas and I had the beef ones and a steak. All of the food was delicious and the service was incredible. I highly recommend you to come here for dinner.
Stopped in for a post-ferry snack and was delighted by the best empanadas EVER. Do NOT miss out. They have such unique and delicious flavors (my favorites were sweet beef and the one with dates). Staff was kind and the restaurant was nice, but those empanadas were the highlight of the experience.
One of the best meals, service, and atmosphere restaurant on our 2 week visit on the island. The empanadas are excellent, flank steak tender, tasty cocktails, reasonably priced. Daily food and drink specials. Must try.

Awesome restaurant that I highly recommend! Las parillas were a great option with both the meats and the vegetables delicious. The Cabernet wine was so good that we ordered 4 bottles for 6 people Empanadas for starters and flan for dessert were perfect. Prices were more than reasonable for all we ordered. The service was great too. We will go back often!
I have no idea how good the steaks, or even the other entrees are at Del Sur. See, the problem is that the savory empanadas are really tasty... and the dessert empanadas (dark chocolate, dulce de leche, and amazing Nutella) may be even better. Pair them with a drink or two from their capable bar staff and you've got a great meal that's different from the usual, and a short walk from the square.
My family and I love to travel, and no matter where we go, something about Cozumel always brings us back. Just when we thought we’d tried it all, we stumbled upon this absolute gem — Del Sur Parrilla Argentina, located just a block off the main drag. Coming from the Chicagoland area, we’re no strangers to great food and diverse dining experiences, but this place is truly to die for. The quality, flavor, and portion sizes were outstanding. We ordered the parrillada for two, and it was more than enough for my son and me — and for context, we’re both 6’1” and over 200 lbs! If you’re looking for tacos, this isn’t your place. But if you’re ready to expand your palate with some incredible Hispanic and Argentinian dishes, this is where you want to be. Add in a full bar and homemade desserts? Say no more — we’re all in. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, the owners personally came out to greet us. That warm, genuine hospitality sealed the deal. Highly recommended. We’ll be back — again and again.
